Trg Ante Starčevića (Ante Starčević Square) - named after the father of the homeland. A few steps away is the symbol of the city, the Co-Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul. Built in 1900, thanks to Bishop J.J. Strossmayer. During the Croatian War of Independence, it was hit more than 100 times by direct projectiles, and its restoration is still ongoing to this day.

The external appearance of the stadium is complemented by a square in the southeast corner, while the interior boasts 13,005 seats in the club's distinctive colors. The new NK Osijek stadium is unique in Croatia for having two large scoreboards in the southeast and northwest corners, as well as featuring the most modern solutions for lighting and sound systems. The new stadium offers a completely new experience of matches. As the stands descend right next to the playing field, every spectator at Opus Arena feels like a part of the game.

Tvrđa, in the past, had four gates, with only the northern gate, known as Water Gate (Vodena vrata), preserved today.
Adjacent to it is a memorial plaque dedicated to the builder of Tvrđa, Johann Stephan von Beckers, whose body, according to legend, was bricked into the external side of the ramparts.

Located near Copacabana is the hub of urban culture in the city of Osijek, the skate park that hosts the Pannonian Challenge every year—a unique festival that provides BMX, SKATE, and INLINE competitions in a relaxed atmosphere. The diverse program of urban culture is rounded off in the evening with energetic parties and concerts. The significance of the Pannonian Challenge is recognized throughout the region and contributes to the development of extreme sports. As a result, the festival has been steadily growing to a global level that has impressed top athletes and numerous visitors in recent years. The festival's success is evident from the fact that, in its early days, prizes for the best riders were symbolic, whereas today, the total prize fund for the entire competition amounts to around a ten thousand euros—among the highest in extreme sports competitions in Europe. Moreover, compared to the first performances by local bands at the festival fifteen years ago, recent editions have featured the best names from the regional urban music scene.
One of the most famous swimming areas in Osijek is the popular Copacabana, where you can seek refreshment in newly renovated pools with accompanying facilities during the summer, as well as on the sandy beach along the Drava River. This well-known continental beach was refurbished a few years ago. Every summer, it becomes the most popular destination for playing picigin and enjoying a cool drink from the beach bar.
A favorite excursion spot for the people of Osijek, known as "by the catacombs," is located in the Crown Fortress, the northern part of the Osijek fortress on the left bank of the Drava River. These catacombs date back to the 18th century and are now often a meeting place for many romantic couples. It is undoubtedly liveliest during the month of September when the beloved Days of the First Croatian Beer are held. It is also a venue for festivals and concerts.
